Amazing illustrators love to draw, they have a mind for design and the ability to turn any idea into reality on screen. Any style, any colour palette, any client – the ability to be flexible and create what we need is imperative. Our illustrators are the backbone of the animation business, they draw the characters, the landscapes, the logos and iconography, and set them up to be manipulated and bought to life by the animators.
Animators, in their own words, “make things move”. You see that ball? It won’t bounce without the animator. The wheel on that bus? Animator. The fireworks, the explosions, the flashing lights, the fleeing crowd? All the work of fantastic animators doing their thing. It might sound like fun, but as much fun as they have, they also work hard. Every single dot point on a powerpoint presentation might need to move for a client, and the animator’s attention to detail ensures that everything is just right at the end of the day.
Design, design, design. Layout, layout, layout. Looks, looks, looks. Some might describe a graphic designer as superficial, image-concerned, or vain. We like to describe them as talented, focused, and driven. Yes, the only thing they care about is looks, but a great graphic designer understands that the looks need to reflect the client and their brand, their goals, and their target audience. A graphic designer needs to have the ability to understand what a client needs, but also be able to come up with the best possible way to demonstrate and display the solution – and tell everyone else how to do it.
The Body Behind the Camera, the Master of Timelines, the Sultan of the Edit Suite. What does a video producer do? They’ll tell you that they’re producing videos – but they’re more likely to be fiddling around editing outtakes to make their stars look silly. What this tells us though is that they capture the moments that need to be captured, and bring them to life on our screens. Noticing small details, being able to see the impact of light and movement on a shoot, and hearing the important moments in audio – then editing it all together to create magic.

Job Description
It’s a broad role and day-to-day tasks will vary from illustrating storyboards and assets for animation, to putting together proposals and infographics. It’s a position that will let you to stretch your creative ability every day on different, new and exciting projects.
