Scripting

Time to write your idea scene by scene. You may already have a script and we’d be happy to help you iron it out even further.

At this initial stage, whether you already have a concept in mind or are seeking creative input, we begin the journey. We discuss your target audience and the type of video you have in mind, setting the foundation for the project.

Voiceover

If your project needs a voiceover, let us know if you have any age or gender in mind. If not, we can help you find the perfect match. We work with many voice talent agencies and can provide samples to help you find the right one for your project.

Style Frames

Next we’ll illustrate style frames to nail down the look and feel of your project.
This is the stage where you can decide how you want the final product to look—so we’ll be keeping the conversation open to make sure you’re absolutely happy before proceeding to the next stage.

Storyboard

This is where we lay out the story in a visual format—a bit like a comic strip—so you can get an idea of how the final product will look, how we’ll transition from one scene to the next, and what visuals will accompany each part of your script. We need to get this locked off to proceed to the next step—the fun part, the animation!

Animation

Once we’ve locked down the script, the visual style and the storyboards are approved, it’s time to animate. This is where we bring your message to life. We’ll add the voiceover, music and sound effects to create a fully immersive experience for your viewers. We love what we do, and we want you to love it too, so we’ll make sure you’re happy with your final product.

Delivery

This involves preparing and providing the client with the finished project files in the required file format(s) and specifications. We ensure that the final files are properly organised and labelled for easy access and use by the client.

How we make your animation

While every project is unique, we follow a tried and tested recipe to produce the best result for you.

We have approval stages where you can provide feedback, before giving us the green light to proceed with the next step of the production process. We’ll describe these points as “milestones”. If any of the client approval milestones are delayed, it may impact further deadlines for your project.

Everything Motion By Design produces is bespoke to each client, so turnaround times can vary. There are ways to speed up a project, so if you have a tight deadline, let’s have a chat about what is possible.
