With more than 15 years’ experience in the field, Dom has an extensive portfolio of skills specialising in all things video, animation and content creation. Dom created Motion By Design in November 2018 and has since steadily built up a large network of clients. When he actually gets a weekend off, Dom enjoys good food, wine and hanging with his dog May.
Meet Yami – a powerhouse with 10+ years of experience in project management and marketing strategy. She’s here to streamline our work and communication, both internally and externally. But that’s not all! Yami’s also a travel junkie, culture enthusiast, and a heartwarming family lover. When not acing projects, she’s the life of every party!
Highly skilled in After Effects, Stephanie brings our videos to life with her amazing animation and motion graphic skills. Working previously both overseas and interstate, her love of design and attention to detail is second to none. When she’s not creating animation magic, Steph enjoys getting her zen on with yoga and re-watching her fave thriller movies (not at the same time).
Matt, the gun videographer and editor with a can-do attitude. He absolutely loves making longer-form content and documentary work. When he’s not filming you’ll find him playing lacrosse, or talking to some random about lacrosse.
Kavindu loves everything about technology. He brings an awesome set of animation skills to the team along with a keen eye for design and detail.
When he’s not honing his craft he’s found watching endless streams of YouTube tech channels while bopping to some raging techno beats.
Tifany brings with her a big box of incredible motion design and video editing skills. After working in the IT world for almost a decade, she decided to explore the visual art field and fell in love with animation! She is a micro animations lover and her best strength is in creating an eye-catching animation. When she is not sitting at her desk, Tifany enjoys traveling around Australia with her partner.
The Robin to Chi’s Batman, except this Robin has the toolbelt of tricks! And she’s flexible enough to take any creative direction and make it fit – so she’s kind of like Catwoman, too. Just an all-round superhero, really.
Part of our Dynamic Duo of Design, Chi is an illustrator, a designer, and a storyteller. Her passion is in character design, and that shines through every time she creates a special look for each client.
Mayfield, affectionately known as Mayfield-Serpentine-Rex is the energy and heart of the team. The only client work you’ll find her doing is fetching a ball.
Everything Motion By Design produces is bespoke to each client, so timings can vary. For a logo animation, you could have a finished product in 2-3 days. for a 60 second animation around 2 weeks. There are always ways to speed up a project, so if you have a tight deadline ask us if it’s possible!
Motion By Design provides quotes for each job based on the complexity of animation, illustration, and budget.
The price of your project is calculated by style, technique, and run-time.
We will run you through a few examples and discuss pricing options before providing you with a fixed price quote.
We have over 12 years of Advertising and Marketing experience that we use to ensure each video project will provide you with the desired outcomes. We provide the little things that others don’t – like cut-down videos for social media and even the illustration files if requested, so you can use all the fun assets we create on your website and socials.
We request 50% of the project total to be paid before work commences, the remainder is due 14 days after the job is completed.
You certainly will! However, we do request the right to use the work we have produced for you, in part or full, for our own marketing purposes. Once the project is completed we will provide you with video download links.
Motion By Design is a full-service agency – that means we do everything. We’ll meet with you, learn about your product and your goals, and create everything from scratch just for you.
If you already have a script in mind – that’s fine too! We’ll give it a once-over and make some suggestions (we have done this before), and come to a perfect solution that communicates to your audience and connects with them through your animation.
During the production process we have stages of approval to avoid any surprises at the end.
We have approval stages for Script, Illustration and Animation so at every major stage you can provide feedback before work commences. We allow for a reasonable amount of revision time in every project, and if it’s out of scope we’ll let you know before commencing any further work.
